Ketamine Infusions
Although usually referred to as a horse anaesthetic in the lay press, ketamine is widely used in a number of human medical situations, from the battlefield to the pain clinic.
For pain conditions such as CRPS (refractory complex regional pain syndromes) or other types of neuropathic pain, and also MS, Ketamine infusions can offer a successful alternative.
The treatment is done as a day case and usually completed in 2-3 hours. However, repeat infusions might be necessary.
